A personal project born from the desire to explore the movement and energy of surfing. Through these two radiant surfers, I wanted to capture that split second when the body becomes one with the wave.
It’s also an opportunity to represent diversity in sport, too often absent from surf illustrations. These women embody the pure joy of the present moment, freedom and confidence.
Technically, this project allowed me to work on:
- The dynamics of poses
- The movement of water
- Character expressiveness
- A vibrant color palette
