I had the opportunity to work with the design studio Very True Story on the Yohana project, a Silicon Valley startup that supports busy families in their daily lives.
Their vision: to free up time for what matters most with an online concierge service.
These illustrations came to life in animated promotional films and were adapted across various brand marketing materials.
A New playground
An exciting shift in tools! Goodbye vectors, hello freehand drawing. This refreshing exploration allowed me to infuse even more spontaneity into my illustrations.
The line is loose and expressive. The characters breathe. This technique brings a touch of authenticity that I increasingly appreciate, especially for digital projects.
Creative Constraints
A minimalist line, dynamic poses, a restricted color palette… These creative constraints pushed me to cut to the chase: expressive characters that embody personal stories. The illustrations naturally aligned with Yohana’s promise, creating space for what truly matters.
Striking the Right Balance
The challenge was exhilarating: illustrating how a digital service can foster real human connections. On one side, families enjoying moments together; on the other, dedicated professionals making it possible. Each scene captures that moment when stress transforms into serenity.
I particularly enjoyed depicting everyday services in a light and positive way, without falling into clichés. Showcasing support and trust with subtlety.
Creating characters that everyone can relate to, while maintaining the dynamic yet relaxed touch that defines my work.

Ten years of professional illustration have taught me one thing: the best projects often stem from mutual trust. Kristin and Adam from Very True Story understood this perfectly.
The result? A smooth creative process and illustrations that tell exactly the right story. Despite the distance, our collaboration was as warm as it was efficient.
